Fostering the Island’s Future

You are here: Blog > Family Services > Fostering the Island’s Future

The Isle of Wight Council’s Fostering Team would like to talk to anyone who can provide a safe, secure and warm home to an Island child or a group of siblings.

Have you thought about becoming a foster carer?

  • Over 21?
  • A UK resident
  • Have a spare room?

The Isle of Wight Council’s Fostering service is always pleased to speak to individuals or couples interested in looking after children.  We offer:

  • Generous allowances
  • Specialist and on-going training to help you nurture and manage a child in care
  • Continued support  for you and your family

Local children need local homes so they can remain in their community.

For a rewarding experience that changes lives, become a foster carer and help to foster the Island’s future.
