A chance to escape back to the sixties this August!

Owing to very popular demand, Jack Up Events are bringing back the good times with a very  special ‘Jack Up The 60s’ evening at Shanklin Theatre on Friday, August 13th as they continue to  celebrate all things retro.

Multi-talented 5-piece band The Zoots will bring the unforgettable sounds of the iconic decade to  life, taking audiences on both a visual and musical journey. This is THE 60s show that's been  wowing audiences around the world, selling out and headlining venues from the London Palladium  to Old Trafford.

Having recently won the 2021 Global Entertainment award for Best Classic Pop Rock Music Act,  The Zoots will be marking the birth of British pop culture with the hits of The Beatles, The Stones,  The Monkees, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, The Four Seasons and many more.

Event Organiser Sarah Moss said; “It’s great to be back! As theatres prepare to re-open their doors  to welcome audiences after a whole year of closure, we are so excited to be throwing our arms  around and supporting Shanklin Theatre. This wonderful venue is incredibly important to our local  Island community and we’re keen to help play our part in facilitating the return of much-missed  cultural experiences.

The Zoots performed to sell-out crowds at what was to be our last event in February 2020 and were  a phenomenal success. Having played over 1000 shows and toured over 35 countries, they are  quite simply the best live band in town.

Their 60’s show is packed full of wall to wall hits and accompanied by stunning visual effects ensuring an impressive and authentic journey of discovery …or a trip down memory lane!”

Lead Singer Jamie Goddard said; “There is always something special about performing on  the Isle of Wight, there is a magical feel about it. Growing up, my family and I used to come  here on holiday on a regular basis so it’s very nostalgic for me too.”
