Come and have a splashing time at our unique sunshine pool by the sea. The Waterside Pool, part of the Waterside Community Trust is situated in Ryde next to the boating lake and esplanade beach. We are open all year round, seven days a week and have activities for all ages and abilities.
We are one of the only pools in the UK with a retractable roof – bringing sunshine right into your swimming session when the weather permits. We have a sauna cabin, baby changing facilities in both the male and female changing rooms. We also have a dedicated, fully-accessible disabled changing room right next to reception, close to the pool. There are also hoists and chairs for those needing a helping hand. There is complete wheelchair access to the site and we also have regular bookings from disabled groups.
We offer a diverse range of activities including: Fun / Casual Swims, Holiday Fun Sessions, Water Workout, Under Water Hockey, Lane Swims, Rookie Lifeguards, Synchronised Swimming, Swim Party, Hour, Group / Private Lessons, Beach and Pool Lifeguarding Courses, Isle of Wight Residents Swim, Cormorants Club, Squads, Giant Inflatable Water Course Hire, Parent and Toddler Sessions, Sensory Swim & Blind Society Swim Sessions.
