The Old Village Inn in Bembridge, always great food and a familiar greeting even though we do not go often, they always greet us as if we are regulars.

We really like Enid Blyton’s Famous Five stories, the ‘Series of Unfortunate Events’ by Lemony Snicket and ‘Secret Agent Jack Stalwart’ and his adventures across the world by Elizabeth Singer Hunt.

Forelands beach, Bembridge…when the tide is out and the ledge is exposed, it is truly awesome whatever the weather or the season.
